A new step in the writing process: Preblogging

Welcome to my first blog entry at Kairos. I've decided that my personal blog, http://patriciaspatio.blog-city.com, has become too loose in structure for my professional blogging needs, so I've decided to start blogging here. Of all the listservs and discussions I've joined, I enjoy those at Kairos the most.

Something about me: I have just finished my M.A. in English (Literature focus) at the University of South Florida. Now, I'm living, barely, in Massachusetts, looking for a job. I've had some offers, but nothing is definite yet. Looks like adjuncting will not be enough -- :-? I'll probably take a job at a high school and look to teach a Comp/Writing/Literature night class somewhere. I'm researching PhD programs.

My interests are quite varied; if you take a look at my other blog, you'll get a taste. I wrote my thesis taking an ecocritical approach to Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. I love literature, but I'm interested in Composition theory and technology as well. I have a wiki and will be building more webpages, hopefully, in the near future.

Honestly, I'm pretty tech-stupid. I'm such a wanna-be. But, at least I wanna be betta.

ecocritical approach to Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream

halo, Patricia.
it's very glad to know you by your blog.
I'm a Chinese graduate majoring in English literature in Beijing. Now I'm busy preparing my term paper, concerning an ecocritical approach to The Scarlet Letter. It inspired me much to see you also worked on this field. Could you please give me some help on this, or could you just send me your paper as a good demonstration of this critical approach? (Plagerism can be excluded from my dictionary.) Very grateful if you can help. Anyway, thank you for reading this.
