I've just been catching up on RSS newsreading and email after the holidays, so maybe this is old news to some, but it's certainly exciting. ArsTechnica reports that Ulteo has ported OpenOffice to a browser-based version.

I just tried it. It's a little slow load initially (not surprising), but it's the full-featured OO. If Comcast comes through with 100Mbps broadband in the next two years as predicted, well, it's going to load just fine. Maybe we'll soon see other full-featured software apps ported to the web.
