CCCC08 Course Management Systems Workshop?

A colleague of mine here at West Point is doing some interesting things with BlackBoard in her composition course, and she's interested in working with people who are doing things on other CMS platforms. This year was her first CCCC, and she's excited about putting together a courseware workshop proposal for next year. Anybody else out there interested in proposing a CCCC course management system / virtual learning environment / learning platform workshop on various innovative ways to deploy Sakai, Moodle, BlackBoard, Drupal, WebCT, Angel, et cetera in the classroom?

Another Open Option for Course Management

Although it lacks the back-end strengths of Blackboard, WebCT, and other commercial course management systems, you might also check out the Writing Studio on the Writing@CSU Web site. It's seen a lot of use, particuarly in the last year (logins have come from students at more than 900 schools, and about 35 schools used it to support their classes). It's available -- and free -- at http://writing.colostate.edu.

Thanks, Mike! I poked around in it some and it looks like it does some interesting stuff. Any interest in being a part of the workshop and showing other folks all the cool and innovative stuff we can do with it in the classroom?
