NewsForge reports that the City of Austin is moving 80% of their desktops to OpenOffice.

Personally, I'd like to hear more about the pilot study; after all, it would be good to have their conclusions for those of us who might like to make the same case for our schools. Would be good to hear follow up on the conversion process as well.
