Be sure to visit the Bar to talk to Lou and get something to drink if you get thirsty during the conference. Lou even has the ability to leave message for people. Special Notes about the Symposium
Be sure to test your access into TTU English MOO before the Symposium to work out any connectivity problems you may experience (firewall, popup blocker, java). See the Attending Guide for more information.
CWOnline 2006 has over 150 people registered. I'm sure not everyone will attend Saturday's Symposium, but we will have a crowd in TTU English MOO. enCore MOO is a multi-user environment, and various moo experts have given assurances that we should be fine with up to 200 people or more online at once. However, we are entering a bit of unknown territory.
One mild problem we could encounter is "lag" or a time delay between when a message is entered and when it displays. A severe problem would be the moo server crashes. In the case of catastrophic failure, check the conference home page for a news update. The Symposium presentations would then be rescheduled for available times during the remainder of the Conference.
We look forward to "seeing" you at one of the many online venues for this conference.
