Disney accompanied the kids on a recent clam dig and said she was impressed with how efficiently they gather data using the Palms.
"Instead of having a huge pile of papers to enter into the computer, when you come back from the field you're pretty organized," she said. Still, she admitted that she had "a hard time letting go of the hard-copy process.
"I couldn't keep up with them," she said. "They had all the variables entered before I even got there."
