"Egoscopio" and "Telescape"--a new Kind of Computer Art

"Egoscopio," by the Brazilian artist Giselle Beiguelman and "Telescape," by the Brisish artist known as Greyworld are the two latest Internet-based art projects to be displayed in public.

The first one will be projected on a billboard in the middle of a busy street in Sao Paolo while the second will open later in the year in Brooklyn.

It seems like we will have to see these creations to form an idea of their artistic effect. The NY Times article that reports about the two pieces simply says that they will simultaneously "online and off", blurring the line between the virtual world and the real one.
