feds look at file sharing

The Government Accountability Office has been told by Congress to have a look at file sharing activities on college campuses: http://insidehighered.com/news/2006/07/25/gao. I'm sure only good things will come of this.

*I cleaned up my spelling error, changing "collee" to "college" so now Matt's joke below doesn't make any sense at all, hah!

It's about time. These collies have been getting away with veritable capital crimes against intellectual property. But it's not just them. Just yesterday a landless, ownerless doberman tried to "interest" me in an illegal MP3 of dogs yelping Christmas carols. Fie on it.
