Congratulations to Jenny Edbauer of the University of Texas at Austin for being the first recipient of the Kairos Best Academic Weblog Award. Her research interests include the affective and sensual aspects of literacy and rhetoric, and her forthcoming dissertation is titled Everyday Intensity and Affective Literacy: A (Sensual) Rhetoric of the City.
