Here's an exciting bit of news--Google has bought out Upstartle, the company responsible for Writely Web Word. Mat Tschirgi and I have been using Writely extensively to collaborate on our graphical adventure game book. While it's not quite as effective as Microsoft Word, it gets the job done--though I've heard complaints that its files aren't quite as clean and web friendly as some folks would like. Anyway, I'm very interested to see what innovations Google will bring to the program. The folks at Writely seem very excited as well.
