Gimme Generation

This post reminded me of a MR Forums on "generation gimme." While we all like to say negative things about the upcoming generation, I'm pretty sure it's just our refusal to accept change. You can go back to Ancient Greece and find the oldsters complaining about the corrupt and idiotic youth. I think there must be something in human nature that causes older generations to sneer at the younger.
