Aaron Schwarts has written a groovy utility that converts html to ascii (plain text) and preserves the formatting. This is great for converting bugly websites into emailable text for class discussion. It seems like it could be harnessed as a utility for access as well, making more pages "readable" by text-to-voice software. Shoot, this utility should be rolled into web development software, so all you have to do is click a link and the page you are viewing is converted to plaintext.
