Slashdot | Is Apple The New Microsoft?

Apple is starting to lose its lustre; at least according to Forbes. Lately, Apple has won a suit that forces some pro-Apple bloggers to reveal where they got their confidential information about some secret Apple products. Apple has also introduced a proprietary format for its iTunes service which must be played on Apple's player.

This just shows that Apple is not a good alternative, from an ethical or political perspective, to Microsoft PCs. Folks looking for a real alternative will want to take a hard look at GNU/Linux instead.
