Kairos: A Journal of Rhetoric, Technology, and Pedagogy is pleased to announce the release of Issue 13.1 for Fall 2008 and our new redesign by Kathie Gossett, Karl Stolley, and Doug Eyman. In addition to the redesign, we are also launching two new sections: Inventio, which covers the process of creating webtexts for Kairos, and Disputatio, a forum for readers to respond to the pieces and ideas in Kairos. We invite your feedback on the changes we've made.
This newly-redesigned and newly-sectioned issue contains work from Melanie Yergeau, Kathryn Wozniak, and Peter Vandenberg; Patricia Webb Boyd; David Ciccoricco and Billy O'Steen; Shannon Mondor and Angela Rounsaville; Ryan Omizo; and Douglas Walls. There is also an interview with Kathleen Welch and reviews of Viz. Rhetoric, Visual Culture, Pedagogy, a blog published by the Computer Writing and Research Lab at the University of Texas and Aging Literacies: Training and Development Challenges for Faculty by Angela Crow.
We invite you to view the issue and to discuss it here at Kairosnews. We also hope that you will consider submitting topics for our special issue on rhetoric and the military.

CSS discrepency
I like the new design! Be sure to check it out in Firefox 3, though. I notice that the logo is hanging down 5 or 10 pixels below the header. One day CSS will be implemented uniformly, and these issues will be gone. (I hope.)
