Mozilla Firefox 0.9 Released

Slashdot reports that Mozilla Firefox 0.9 has been released. You can download it via the Mozilla Firefox homepage.

Since I'm always ready to try out a new version of this great browser, I'm posting from Firefox .9 right now. Installation was easy. Just know that you need to uninstall the previous version of Firefox first. After copying out my bookmarks, I also deleted out my old Firefox profiles in Windows since Firefox stores the profiles in a new directory (see the Release Notes).

Why uninstall?

I installed it and have been using it...I didn't uninstall my previous version of Firefox, though. Should I?

can't tell you why or why not, but you should probably backup your bookmarks first if you do.
