CNET reports that version 7.01 of Netscape has the pop-up ad disabler option that it is in Mozilla.
Note, though, that AOL has modified the feature: "In a similar attempt to preserve its own pop-up prerogatives, Netscape's new ad blocker comes with a default list of Web sites--which browser users can alter--whose pop-ups will be permitted even once the user activates the tool."
I'm wondering if Netscape/AOL merely caved to criticism for leaving it out or was Mozilla gaining in popularity over Netscape? Regardless, Netscape users will want to upgrade.
