Google + MySpace - look out job-seekers

An article in the NY Daily News documents a woman's unfortunate job interview when her potential boss "Googled" her and found her name and photo on a friend's MySpace profile. The photo had a caption that suggested she may be using an illegal drug. It was enough to make her an undesirable candidate for hire.

How are people making the realities of public lives online clear for young people? Can you convince a teenager that they are indeed vulnerable to harming themselves online? (not even considering online predators for this question)
