NPR Retreats, Link Stink Lingers

Well, NPR has lifted the ban on linking to their site. Wired points out, though, that they still limit some usage: " But there are still limits on linking to the nonprofit radio network's site. Links to NPR's site 'should not (a) suggest that NPR promotes or endorses any third party's causes, ideas, websites, products or services, or (b) use NPR content for inappropriate commercial purposes,' according to a new policy posted on Thursday."

Now, while the disclaimer in part (a) certainly seems reasonable, I'm a little curious about "inappropriate commercial purposes," since it's so vaguely defined. Either way, I imagine that bloggers should feel comfortable again in linking to NPR.
