One of the best schools in the US for technical writing and rhetoric, Texas Tech University, now offers an online PhD in Technical Communication and Rhetoric. Other than attendance at a two week session at TTU each summer, it seems that all coursework and communciation with faculty is completed online. Note that they are currently taking applications for Fall 2004. Maybe we can get Rich Rice to log on and fill us in on some more details :)
