Online School That Gave Cat an MBA Is Sued

Yup, one of those shady "get your diploma online" programs has been busted. What's really bad about this is that stuff like it gives GOOD online programs a bad name. My only question is, is this cat a Republican or a Democrat?

Well, but there are some real

Well, but there are some really good online programs out there. I'll bet a cat didn't get into Texas Tech's new online Ph.D. program, for instance. Or it would be a cat with great qualifications and potential. :)

Better Programs

I fully agree. I know of at least a few online programs that are really excellent. I'm thinking primarily of the diploma mills and that ridiculous garbage that comes to me everyday as SPAM...:-)

I decided to change the blog for accuracy.

Searching Google Finds Resumes from Trinity Graduates

A Google search for "Trinity Southern University" turns up a few doctors and managers with degrees from Trinity. One link is http://urology.ucsf.edu/faculty/facDahiya_bio.html. Another links to a different diploma-selling site http://www.unicalamus.org/faculty.htm

I am uncertain whether http://www.rushmore.edu/ is of this type; I mention that school because some of their pages refence candidates whose other degrees are from Trinity.

I believe the web sites these companies maintain could be interesting fodder for the rhetorical herd.

That was quick

Dr. Dahiya has already edited his online biography; Google's cached version can be found at http://tinyurl.com/4vcm9. I can't understand why a medical researcher of Dr. Dahiya's obvious accomplishments would want to snag a PhD in Business Administration, much less a PhD from a diploma mill. Weird.

makes me question

his other credentials. who knows if they are real?

I suspect he was scammed

I bet he took the program's propaganda as truth. Figured, what the heck, get a second PhD based on experience. There are naive PhDs, too.
