Not, strictly speaking, a report on technology, this NPR story does make a teaching point about the fact that most, if not all, "creative" writing is based, at least to some extent, on research. The report is about the new play The Exonerated which open in NY today. The play is based on true stories of death-row inmates who were cleared on their crimes. The play's authors interviewed those former inmates (did primary research) before writing the play. Could we use this story to show students the connection between the creative and the researched?
