in wikis

My graduate course in composition theory have voted to take on the task of updating and revising the award-winning Rhetoric and Composition Wikibook. They're impressed with the project, and I'm looking forward to another semester with this fascinating and, I think, important work in the field.

Call for Submissions: Blogging Textbook

in blogging, blogs, k-log, k-logs, podcast, podcasts, textbooks, wiki, wikis

I am looking for submissions to be included in an edited collection of pedagogical materials on blogging to be published by Allyn & Bacon/Longman (ABL) in 2007 and to be distributed for *free* to interested instructors. In an unprecedented move, ABL will release this text under a Creative Commons license; that's right, folks, a major textbook publisher has agreed to test the Creative Commons waters.

I'm looking for practical handouts, activities, and assignments--things you probably already have on your hard drive (or USB flash drive) if you've taught classes or given workshops on blogging. All varieties of materials are invited. Deadline for submissions is December 15, 2006. I am inclduing the tentative Table of Contents for this project (working title (only): _Project Blogue_) below but submissions that fall outside the projected ToC are invited as well.
