Jim McKenna and John Lieberman, the proud collectors of almost 80,000 AOL discs so far, have decided to send AOL a "gesture" by collecting and mailing back a million "Free AOL" Cds to their doorstep.

"AOL produces millions of CDs, which get immediately thrown away," said McKenna, who helped create the site No More AOL CDs.com. "Our goal will be accomplished when AOL stops sending out unwanted CDs, shakes our hands and says, 'You made your point, and it was kind of funny.'"

AOL sent an average of 40 million CDs in 1999.
