Unpopular Culture

Unpopular Culture is one of the cooler things I've seen in a while. It's the brainchild of Megan McArdle, a.k.a. Jane Galt, and it's intended to be an "online literary salon." She takes texts that are in the public domain -- texts that aren't on every required reading list and that everyone's already read, hence the name Unpopular Culture -- and, using weblog software (Wordpress, in case you were curious), posts them in chapter-by-chapter installments. Readers can discuss the chapters in the comments. The first text for discussion on Unpopular Culture is A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court. Take that, Mark Twain's conviction that copyright should be forever! :P
