Using Wikis to Author Textbooks

I know this isn't "ready for primetime" by any stretch of the imagination, but if you missed C&W or for whatever reason wanted to see the video I prepared, here's the link.

Kinda funny story about this video. I was on the fence for a long time about whether I'd attend the conference. I usually don't miss it, but was having too hard of a time justifying the expense this year. One of our panel's other members withdrew as well, so it looked like Nick and Steven were going to be left with a lot of minutes. So, Steven volunteered to show a video or have us beamed in virtually if we so desired. I hemmed and hawed for a few days, but finally, feeling kinda lame about not going, I put this video together in about a day and a half. Needless to say, it was intense trying to get all this together before the presentation.

Unfortunately, the efforts proved futile. The conference planners had (unbeknownst to me) found a substitute for us, so there wasn't any actual time to show anything but a few minutes (and apparently the speakers weren't working well, so nobody could hear it). I guess after you watch this thing you can decide for yourself whether that was a good or bad thing. All I can say is...Meh. ;)
