Web goes down the toilet

Whether cooking or doing that, er, other thing...you gotta have the Web nearby. I need 'em both. Which to buy first?

This reminds me of that scene in Tom Hanks' BIG in which he's staring at a transformer that turns from a robot into a building and makes this pivotal comment: "I don't get it."

I don't doubt that embedded appliances are on the way--CPUs and other microchips are just too cheap and offer too much potential to ignore--these are some of the lamest ideas I've seen yet.

At first I thought these projects were jokes, but then my cynicism kicked in. :-)
