Insightful discussion at AKMA's place about content management systems and word processing tools. People are pointing out that Wordpress (which we've talked about) and Textpattern are "writers' tools," whereas Moveable Type is more designed for link/commentary. Shelley Powers has switched from MT to Wordpress, and I thought it worth mentioning that she has some interesting reflections on open source CMSs.

Edited to add: Drupal is conspicuously absent from these discussions. When I have more time, I'll mention it in the comments under these posts.
