Writing Studio Blogger

Last semester, just before we went public with the Writing Studio (http://writing.colostate.edu/studio), I put together a (very) simple Blogging tool for the Studio. Basically, it allows writers to create a Blog, share it with one or more Studio-supported class pages, and/or share it with the world through the Writing@CSU Writing Gallery. They can also keep it private if they want to.

It occurred to me that some of you might be interested in it. I haven't enabled any RSS feeds (nor would I have the faintest idea of how to do that) or other things, but it does allow writers to create a blog and get replies to entries.

Check it out if this sounds interesting. Teachers from something like 30 schools are using the Studio to support classes this semester and so far things seem to be going well.

(Warning to Safari and Opera Users: We use a cross-platform editor in the Studio that supports WYSIWYG text, but it only works for Mozilla-based browsers and IE. Safari and Opera can get around the Studio fine, but the editor won't work properly.)

Thanks,

registering for the writing studio

I took a quick look and watched the introductory video. Can't wait to get back and register and see what the software is like :)
